Livestock farming
The requirements in intensive livestock farming with regard to disease prevention and continuous disinfection measures require responsible and coordinated hygiene management.
The products used to combat harmful organisms relevant to animals are classified as biocidal products and are subject to the Biocidal Products Regulation (PT-3) in Europe. Regardless of the size of the farm, maintaining a hygienic environment is crucial for the health of the animals and the quality of the animal products.
Our cleaning agents and disinfectants have been specially developed for the requirements of pig, piglet, cattle and poultry farming and guarantee you an environment that ensures animal health and welfare.
Basics
Animal husbandry is a diverse sector, ranging from small, family farms to large, industrial operations. Regardless of size, maintaining a hygienic environment is crucial for the health of the animals and the quality of the animal products.
Key aspects include species-appropriate housing, feeding, disease prevention and waste handling.
Each of these aspects can be negatively impacted by inadequate hygiene measures, highlighting the importance of effective cleaning and disinfection methods.
The cleaning of superficial soiling is the basic prerequisite for effective disinfection of animal pathogens. To do this, a qualified cleaner is first used to remove any protein and grease residues from feed, manure, urea or similar. Porous surfaces in particular, such as concrete, can quickly become clogged with a layer of grease, which must be removed using a cleaner specifically formulated for this purpose.
The subsequent disinfection is then carried out on all stable surfaces such as floors, walls, ceilings, fixtures, ventilation systems, feed silos, troughs, boots, equipment, vehicles and in the drinking water system in order to safely inactivate bacteria, fungi and viruses. Disinfection against excreted endoparasites can also be ensured with our hygiene concepts.

Challenges
in veterinary hygiene
A wide variety of worm eggs, coccidia, yeasts, viruses and bacteria must be reliably killed under practical conditions in order to prevent animal diseases. It is crucial that the concepts also work in the presence of dirt and under different temperature conditions on different material surfaces.
In addition to the given effectiveness, our concepts also fulfill the substitution requirement required by the Hazardous Substances Ordinance with regard to hazard potential for the user, material resistance and environmental liability law.
Our cleaning agents and disinfectants for animal husbandry have been specially developed to meet the specific requirements of this sector.
We offer products that are tailored to the specific conditions and requirements of keeping poultry, pigs and other animal species.
Our disinfectants are effective against a wide range of pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, yeasts, excreted endoparasites, such as roundworm eggs, coccidia oocysts, cryptosporidia and many more, which are common in animal husbandry.
